ONGC Apprentice Recruitment: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has officially invited applications for a total of 2623 apprentice posts this year. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online only. Applications will be accepted from October 16, 2025, and will be accepted till November 6, 2025. ONGC Apprentice posts are divided into different sectors according to the sector. Mainly:
Northern Sector – 165 vacancies
Mumbai Sector – 569 Vacancies
Western Sector – 856 Vacancies
Eastern Sector – 458 Vacancies

ONGC Apprentice Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
While each trade and post has its own specific qualifications, it is primarily mandatory to complete ITI or related diploma/graduate courses. For example, in trades like Mechanic, Electronics, Instrument, Fitter, Fire Safety Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician, Computer Operator, Storekeeper, Civil Draftsman, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Telecommunications, ITI or related diploma/graduate qualification is required. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories is applicable as per government policy.

Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300/-
Diploma Apprentice: ₹10,900/-
Trade Apprentice (10th/12th): ₹8,200/-
ITI Trade (1 year): ₹9,600/-
ITI Trade (2 years): ₹10,560/-

ONGC Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process:
The selection of apprentices will be done on the basis of merit, as per the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of equal marks, preference will be given to the candidate who is older in age. No abuse, promotion or influence will be allowed, otherwise the candidature may be cancelled.
