Botanical Survey of India (BSI) has announced BSI Recruitment 2025 Notification for the year 2025. It includes 14 jobs like Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Research Associate, Field Assistant, Garden Assistant cum Multitask Assistant, and Data Entry Operator cum Accountant.

Job Roles and Work Details

✓ JRF: Plant research, data collection and plant conservation work.
✓ Research Associate: Leading research, preparing reports, studying plants.
✓ Field Assistant: Assisting in field work, collecting samples.
✓ Garden Assistant: Maintenance of gardens, nurseries and collection of plants.
✓ DEO cum Accountant: Maintenance of accounts, data entry, support to the team.

Education Requirements
✓ JRF: M.Sc. in Botany or Natural Science (minimum 55%).
✓ Research Associate: Ph.D. in relevant subject.
✓ Field Assistant: 12th pass or B.Sc. in Botany.
✓ Garden Assistant: 10th pass (garden experience is preferable).
✓ DEO cum Accountant: Graduate in Commerce or Computer/Accounting Diploma.

Salary Details
✓ JRF: ₹31,000 + HRA (for NET/GATE) or ₹25,000 + HRA (for non-NET/GATE)
✓ Research Associate: ₹47,000 + HRA
✓ Field Assistant, Garden Assistant: ₹18,000 (Fixed).
✓ DEO cum Accountant: ₹30,000 (Fixed).

Age Limit
✓ JRF: Maximum 28 years
✓ Research Associate: Maximum 40 years
✓ Field Assistant: Maximum 30 years
✓ Garden Assistant / DEO: Maximum 35 years
✓Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women as per government norms.
